About
I am licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage & Family Therapist. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento and went on to receive my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, California where I focused on psychodynamic psychotherapy.
As a therapist, it is my aim to help my clients cultivate the best version of themselves. As we move through life, our experiences may have shifted how we see ourselves and the world around us causing distress within and perhaps between others. I believe that we can effect change by getting to know ourselves on an entirely different level. Holding compassion and empathy for our own struggles is paramount to building back the trust in ourselves which can bring upon more satisfaction in our life. I am passionate about helping my clients connect and understand these parts about themselves to cultivate more harmony, balance and trust.
I bring an eclectic perspective to my treatment space designed around my clients' personalities and hopes. I hold curiosity and compassion for my clients' experiences with a desire to understand and offer insight and perspective. My practice employs Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, Psychoanalytic, Motivational Interview, CBT and Solution Focused treatment.
It can be scary to accept this new adventure of self discovery, but I will be here alongside you providing a positive and guiding presence where you may have lost your footing in the past. You are never too much, and you have a place in this world. Please reach out for more information and a free phone consultation.
